what should i wear??

I graduate from college tommorrow and I was thinking of wearing the same dress I wore to my high school graduation. The problem is, that was in june and this dress is strapless. I don't mind freezing my buns off to look nice (and the ceremony is indoors), but i was considering my other options and i came up with
- slacks and button-down shirt **what i wear to work everyday. boring**
- a skirt and top
- a larger, fancier dress (but has more coverage)
- the strapless dress
- go out and buy something new ((i'm broke as hell))

any tips??
i also have a nice black and white dress, that's pretty flowy, but has a halter-type of tie. is that innappropriate for an event like this?

Look at it this way, you are now a college graduate. If you do not have the money to buy something new, wear the most professional/dressy outfit you have. You are a professional with a degree, show it. High school was just that high school, you are an adult with a degree, show them that side of you.

There was a song I used to love in the 90s, but can't remember who sung it or what it was called, but I remember the music video. It was a girl group, and in the video I think one of them was running down some stairs, and one was in some giant bird cage. They wore large, fancy dresses too, from what I can recall. Does anyone remember this video, and if so, the group and song that went with it?
