Is this a good idea for a horror novel(:?

I am a writer. And I'm into scaring the heebie-jeebies out of myself and everyone standing around me. I'm into shock art and I thought I'd put my talents and thoughts into a novel. I am thinking 'Little Dead Riding Hood', a take on the fairytale and her venturing into the woods and straying from the path to Grandma's. What do you think?

i'd love to read a synopsis.
might work better as a horror novel if you made Red a little older, say fourteen/fifteen instead of like eight/nine like she is in the original fairytale.
that's actually really fascinating!
she can kind of go into a dreamy-forest-land, and you know how she was picking flowers? well you can have them be mushrooms or even flowers whose scent intoxicate her and give her hallucinations, so at the end, she's not sure if everything that happened was real or not.
you could probably even turn the big bad wolf into like a pack of wolves or a werewolf or something.
very very cool idea, i'm liking it more and more
let me know how it starts coming out when you begin writing?? post a bit of it on here or something

How do you make a hooded cloak? Best answer gets 10 points, asap!!?

I need to make a short, hooded cloak for Halloween. I am being llittle dead riding hood. I can sew etc, but I would rather it was made from one square of material, as that is all I have.
